  • "This apartment is spacious, well equipped, comfortable and quiet for sleeping. It is in a very good location for exploring the area with easy access to the motorway. We hired a car from Lisbon airport so this apartment was perfect with secure parking outside the entrance door or in the underground car park. The large kitchen door opens onto the balcony for easy outside dining. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and secure.   • "We stayed in Phil and Debbie's apartment for a week in August 2014 and had a superb time. The apartment itself was extremely spacious, beautifully kept and ideal for two adults and two children (aged 8 and 5). We spent plenty of time at the pool and enjoyed chatting with the other holidaymakers. The resort of Sao Martinho do Porto is perfect for families. A huge, safe beach, lots of nice restautrants and ice-cream parlours on the sea-front and a wonderful friendly atmosphere wherever you go. I would thoroughly recommend this for a holiday and hope that we will return ourselves one day. One tip - as we were only there for a week, we decided to get a taxi from Lisbon airport rather than hire a car.   • "We spent two lovely weeks at Atlantico Golf. The apartment was excellent - really well equipped and great space (no one was on top of each other). Our two children (aged 6 and 4) had a wonderful holiday and made full use of the clean and often very quiet swimming pool. In fact we bought inflatables for them as they were having such a great time there. The DVDs in the apartment were a real bonus and enjoyed by all. We made a lot of use of the washing machine and dishwasher - catering for ourselves for breakfast and lunch (the balcony was a lovely place to eat al fresco and the children felt very grown up sitting there). Debbie's directions to the apartment were great, very helpful and Ana (who is the agent in Portugal) was simply lovely and couldn't offer enough advice. We took advantage of many of the Sao Martinho restaurants and particularly liked Boca do Mar and Pesca No Prata. The beach was not too busy (despite being at the peak of the holiday season). The caves at Grutas Do Mira were excellent - definitely recommend. The water park was a bit small for older children but a good size for under 8s. All in all we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend the apartment to families. We will be back, I'm sure!"

  • "The apartment was exactly as the photographs show. Clean, well maintained and catered for all our holiday needs. We were warmly welcomed by the key holder who spoke perfect English. Any questions we had during our stay were quickly answered and local tourist information was also available if requested. The pool was lovely and larger than I expected with plenty of space and never crowded. The whole complex was well maintained, clean and very safe. The apartment is on the outskirts of town so nice and peaceful - an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, or 10-15 minutes to the majority of restaurants. There is a good choice of local restaurants serving lovely meals at sensible prices. Sao Martinho beach is fantastic, and a contrast to the other beaches in the area. With a car we were able to visit the area and loved the different villages, towns, beaches that we explored. There was lots of local information in the apartment that was really useful. We had lots of information before we arrived including very thorough driving instructions. It was a very enjoyable holiday. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends."   • "A clean and modern apartment, smartly furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Arrival was made easy with plenty of advance communciation from the owners (made tackling the driving in Portugal a breeze) and a warm welcome from the local management agency. The apartment is right on the outskirts of town so nice and peaceful - an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, or 10-15 minutes to the majority of restaurants. We stayed towards the end of the season, and it did seem like the town was about to close down for the winter, so if you are looking for something a little more lively I would go earlier in the summer. Good choice of local restaurants serving hearty meals at sensible prices. Sao Martinho beach is fantastic, but would recommend a hire car to see many other attractions in the region."

  • "We spent a week here in May. The apartment was great very clean, spacious and and was in a fantastic location. Our flight was delayed and we were greeted at the airport by a lovely lady who went out shopping for us and even got us a takeaway as we were so tired. We were looked after all week and felt very relaxed by the end of the week. We will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and we will hopefully go back very soon. The only downside is the transfer from the airport which is quite expensive, so a car is recommended.
