  • "We were first time visitors to Portugal, but I can certainly say we look forward to returning.
    There were 5 of us in the apartment, including children aged 12, 8 and 2, but there was more than enough space for us all. It was everything the descriptions & photos promised and more. It was a lovely modern, spacious apartment and had every modern convenience we could possibly want. It was clean and the local rep was very helpful on arrival and also available to help for further questions during our stay.
    The owners left two very helpful information packs in the apartment, suggesting possible trips and local restaurants worth trying. We went to a number of the suggested restaurants with Portobello (fav of kids with pizzas and pasta), Miu Jardim (20 mins drive & fabulous steaks) and the Royal Marina our particular favourites.

    We went on trips to the water park at Nazare (perfect for all the kids) and to the lagoon at Foz do Arelho and enjoyed going up the sand dunes. However, the stunning sandy beaches at Sao Martinho (genuinely 10 mins walk) were so good that we hardly felt the need to go anywhere. In addition, there was a lovely pool at the apartment complex so we had the best of both beach and pool holidays.

  • "We've had a great time. Fantastic apartment - very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Could not fault it at all. Spent most days on the great beach - within 10 mins walking distance. Also played tennis and used the pool. Sao Martinho Do Porto is a really lovely place, certainly not too commercialised with great places to eat - we loved Portobello restaurant, great for pizzas and pasta and good value for money, went there 3 times. Also the takeaway next to the station does great BBQ chicken, chips, etc. Locals were very friendly. We had a very chilled out 2 weeks and didn't feel the need to hire a car as everything we wanted was in the resort. A great holiday and we will definitely be back!! Would certainly recommend!"   • "We've had a wonderful time here. We loved the apartment which was immaculate - fantastic!
    We loved Sao Martinho. Lots of lovely walks along the boardwalk to the huge sand dune (climbed of course!) then back along the shoreline before coffee and cake at a cafe. Lazy lunches at excellent restaurants along the quay before even lazier afternoons on the beach, staying on there till about 7.00pm - bliss! We've fallen in love with Sao Martinho and will definitely be back one day. Thanks to Ana who was excellent. Thank you so much!

  • "We have had a great time here in Sao Martinho do Porto. Every day was different of our three weeks holiday. We found the people here very friendly and welcoming especially the waiters/waitresses at Cafe Samar and the Casa Cocktail Bar. It was reassuring to know Pauline was there for any help needed. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed the swimming pool and sitting on the balcony having a relaxing time. Generally the restaurants and standard of food is very good here.   • "The directions to the apartment were excellent and it was great to have Pauline there on arrival to welcome us. The apartment was of high quality and provided an excellent base for explorationof the surrounding area. We loved Obidos. The canteen style restaurant in Salir do Porto was excellent and Foz do Arelho not only had a lovely beach with waves but also a beautiful sunset.
