  • "A lovely apartment, well suited to a summer holiday. We had a lovely relaxing time,São Martinho is a great resort for a seaside holiday and well placed for exploring the surrounding area. The directions from the airport was much appreciated, as was the information pack in the apartment." The Monks family from Warrington, UK July 2014
  • "A great family apartment in wonderful location. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, we especially appreciated the huge DVD selection, a treat for us to watch films together! The pool was great and facilities well kept and clean. Ana was very helpful and welcoming and a source of local knowledge. The town of Sao Martinho and beach were lovely with lots of places to see. Sand was lovely and soft and water calm. We enjoyed eating on the Quay at Royal Marina and Portobello. The supermarket is convenient too. We especially liked the glass elevator in the tourist office up to the old town, where we found a great bakery, excellent sandwiches for a fraction of the price anywhere else. We visited a larger town with a boating lake and excellent park for the children too. All in all I wish we could've stayed longer. Thanks for a super holiday." • "The whole booking process was easy and Debbie was very helpful. The flat is spacious, well-maintained and very toddler and child friendly. Sao Martinho is a fantastic place, great beaches, lots of things to do, very relaxed. Perhaps the best way to sum it up - we'll be going back." The Baillie Family from Towcester, UK 23 Aug 2013
  • "We found the Atlantico Golf apartment to be clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It is very spacious with plenty of storage, a comfortable bed and good sized 2nd bedroom. The provision of beach towels is an added bonus as it helps with the luggage allowance. There were no English channels on the T.V. but plenty of dvds to watch on the occasional night in. The directions to the apartment were very explicit and included info on the toll roads and what to expect, which was very helpful. We received a warm welcome from Ana who speaks very good english, (unlike our portuguese!) Sao Martinho do Porto is a lovely little town set around a fabulous shell shaped bay. There are lots of excellent restaurants, all within an easy 10-15 minute walk. Fish is served in abundance and there's a nice Italian restaurant and a barbecued chicken take-away, for a change. The weather was "not normal" for June, as confirmed by the friendly locals. It meant we did a lot more sightseeing than we may have done if the sun had been shining. There are some lovely places to visit, all within an easy drive. The information folders in the apartment helped us to plan our days out. We recommend Obidos, Alcobacca Monastery, Buddha Eden, and a bit further away, but well worth the visit, Sintra with it's palaces and the Quinta Da Regaleira mansion set in luxurious grounds. We had a great holiday and would love to go back one day." Anthea Mason from Southsea, UK June 2013

  • "We have a just returned from a lovely week in this apartment in idyllic Sao Marhinto do Porto. The apartment really is a home away from home; Debbie and Phil have thought of all the items you will need to make your stay comfortable. We really enjoyed the flexibility staying in an apartment allowed us, especially being able to cook and to have breakfast when we decided! Although there are numerous restaurants in the local area, each serving delicious local cuisine like Clams, Wild Boar and Octopus. The complex itself is lovely, as mentioned by other reviewers, it is a little out of the town but this is fine, it really is only a 10 minute walk (maximum) to the seafront. It is a gated complex with underground parking which provides extra security, although we really don?t think security is an issue in this small town. Our visit was at the end of the season so the complex was very quiet and the pool a little cool but this was no problem as there are numerous beaches in the area, the best in our opinion being north of Nazare (about 30 minutes away), small towns and of course Lisbon is only an hour away. Debbie and Phil operate a professional holiday letting service from start to finish. A real perk of their service is the provision of the photographic driving directions from your arriving destination. We certainly would have done several laps of Porto?s ring road without them! Their Sao Marhinto do Porto based letting agent is also wonderful, we contacted her on our arrival in Porto and arranged a time to meet her, where she provided us with the keys and gave us a tour of the complex. We also had her mobile number should we need to contact her with any problems, thankfully we had no need too but it was good to know there was someone there to help us should we need it. We would really recommend this apartment if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful seaside town, with friendly people and delicious food. We are already planning our return trip!"
